Hello,
We're reopening a screened porch on our home in New Orleans. The porch will be raised from the ground and there will be plenty of ventilation both above and below to prevent too much moisture from hanging around and causing problems. For the rain that does come in through the screens, there will be a slight grade to allow for drainage.
My question is, which is a better decking material, Trex or EON. I've read a lot about EON being much more expensive, but looking much better. We have two small children, so easy clean up will be an important feature for the new porch floor. The porch will be used as an extension of the living area, so it needs the finishing touches to make it nice. Which product would better suit our needs in terms of cleaning, withstanding the elements and overall appearance.
Thanks for any help you can give us.
