My old HQCO (installed 1990) needs a squirrel cage and fan, but parts seem to be obsolete. My home warranty service may authorize a replacement of equal but not better, but one contractor said it was an 80% efficient furnace (new), while another says it was definitely 90% efficient, and thus should be replaced with 90% The HQCA is Model#NHGE075AF04 (if they are zeros not letter "O"s) and it also has this number 867.768463 Can anyone tell me which efficiency it is -- hopefully 90%!!

It is possibly a 90%er. There are parts available and some pats may interchange with Tempstar. Also google hwacmechanic.com

Is it vented with metal or plastic pipe? If metal it's 80% & if plastic it's 90%.
