I have a single-socket, 3-way lamp and I'd like to convert it to a two-socket lamp. I had a 3-way compact fluorescent in it, but the bulb failed within a few months and it never seemed to light very well. I want to convert the lamp to hold two fluorescents of different wattage. I'd like a single switch to control each socket independently, so that the positions would be: Off, #1 only on, #2 only on, #1 & #2 on together.
Is there a fixture that does this, or will I have to buy lots of parts and wire something myself? I've searched on-line, but if such a thing exists, I don't know what to call it and can't find it.
Thanks!
