When the indoor temp reaches the set temp the outdoor condenser fan stops and the compressor continues to operate with no airflow, is this normal?

You sure the unit is not in defrost??? Does the compressor run all the time then??? It should not

No eventually the compressor will shut off also, it seems to do it when the 2 temps. (set and ambient) are the same.
