Hello any opinions on Azek procell brand or Geodeck decking? Just got quote of Azek $7100 for 16x14 deck and 6100 for Geodeck.

Comparing Azek to Geo Deck is comparing apples and oranges. I've done lots of Azek decks but only one Geo deck, and that was also the LAST one I'll do.

What was wrong with the Geo-deck product?

Geo Deck is hollow. Trying to attach it AND keep it straight was a nightmare. If we tried face screwing it, the screws pnuched through the face about as often as not. If we tried to toe screw or toe nail it, the angle of the fastener caused the board to move.

It may be that my crew had been spoiled, because we had never dealt with a hollow decking before -- other than tearing it off because bent, split and twisted so badly that the homeowner was mad. Different brand, but I went back to the Geo deck and it was bent, split, and twisted.
