We need to clean the burner in our hot water heater-we can see soot build up, and are worried about what can happen if we don't. Problem is, someone has striped the security torx on the cover plate so we can't get to the 3 connection to remove burner out. How do we undo the security torx bits? We have the bit that should work and it works for the one not striped.

You can buy bits for removing stripped screws at just about any hardare store or home center.
