I am having a problem figuring out how to lite the pilot lite on a gas fireplace I have on a house purchased this past year. There is no push button in the fireplace at all, there is the light switch on the wall to turn it on and off once the pilot is lit, there is the key in the wall to turn the gas on/off and adjust the flow. In the fireplace itself there is like a wire and there are a couple of ceramic like tubes laying separate not attached to anything (about the size of a cigarette), that look as if you might use them as a flint or something. Any ideals?
