I bought a Jun-Air silent compressor recently. When it arrived, it appeared to have been damaged in transit, as it was not packed well. It was on it's side in the box and has two bent legs. Seems to have rattled around in the box quite a bit during transit, and probably received a blow in order to have the legs bent.
I plugged it in and powered it up (after adding oil) and it pressurized properly and held air overnight until I released the pressure and unplugged it. The next day when I turned it on, it did not work. The unit gets power and the motor hums, but the air intake does not suck air. It heated up dramatically, and I turned it off. I have cleaned out the non-return valve and the hoses, but they did not seem to be clogged. Any ideas? Seems like it could be a simple fix, since it did pressure up once, but I don't know where to go from here.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Welcome to the forums! Pull the ring on the over pressure valve and let all the air escape, then try turning it on. If it fails again, I think it is time to get permission to return it for a new one.
