My Rheem Heat Pump has 4 wires that connect to the Tstat. One of them is Purple. Where does this wire connect? It is currently connected to the red but I do not think this is correct. I have problems with the fan not shutting off in heat mode.

What was done? A new t-stat put in place?

If it's a new stat, why a new one, was there problems before the new tstat?

We need more info.. Make and model on the t-stat, air handler/furnace, and outdoor unit.
