I am thinking of putting in a wood burning stove. Currently I have just the standard builder's insert with the round vent pipe going up. The interior wall is sheetrock and the "chimney" on the roof is covered with vinyl. Opening size in the living room is 24"x39".
What do I need to consider before taking this out and installing a stove?
