I have an older claw foot tub with a tub spout that has probably been on it's way out for years. When I pull the diverter up for the shower, water still pours out of the spout. At the end of a normal shower, I have a good 10" of water in the bottom of my tub, mostly from the non-diverted water.

Here are a couple of pictures:

I've been to a couple hardware stores with no luck, and I know for a fact that Home Depot doesn't carry anything like this.

Anyone know what type of fixture this is and/or where I can get a replacement?

Thanks.

The facet you have is an Alson model 1025. They are part of what is called "Add a Shower" kit. I have about 25 or 30 of these in apartments I own. The model you have is a newer version of that facet that came out about 10 years ago. It is better than the old model because the spout was made of brass and not white metal as it was. You could try a local plumbinig shop and they might be able to order one for you as I do. I always keep a spare available myself whereas these have issues that are not very easy to repair. I have included a link where you can shop and comparte prices: Alsons 1025 - Home Improvement - Compare Prices, Reviews and Buy at NexTag - Price - Review (http://www.nextag.com/alsons-1025/shop-html) You can do a search on Alson 1025 for other options to order.

Thanks!

I knew posting here would be the easiest thing to do. Luckily I was able to find a new Alsons 1025 for $26.

Thanks again.
