Welcome to the forums! Have you checked the continuity and quality of your fuel line from inside the tank to the carb. Sometimes they deteriorate and won't allow the fuel to move well, they become brittle and break.

Chandler has a point. I had to replace both lines on mine this year. I wonder if it was doing the same thing BEFORE the carb. re-build?? If so, check the muffler. They get stopped up and the eng. will not run. Take it loose and try to start!!

Mike, I've got a large Poulan bow saw that I love to use, but this season it didn't want to be used. I looked in the tank and saw the filter rolling around, so I knew it was a deteriorated fuel line. I began taking this monster apart and after a table full of parts, I still can't see the fuel tank. I put it all back together and will take it to the repair guy. Let him fool with it. Didn't think about the muffler, good point!
