due to to storm my power was out 22 hours. I have a water pump, submersive pump that is. Now that the power has come on my pump doesn't work. What do I have to do for it to work?

Drought, check your panel box in your house and see if the circuit breaker may be tripped. The next thing to check will be your cintrol box @ the well. It wil be a rectangler box with probably one screw holding it in place. remove and pull apart, if it is bad you will probably smell a burnt smell. You can also check it with a olms meter. If this isn't your problem then it is probably your pump. Good luck Charlie...

On most submersive pumps by that little box mentioned in the other answer, should be a little button. Very little. Sometimes they attach it to a small board or something. It is a trip switch, kind of like a reset button. Most every pump has one, and they are not easy to find. But, they are usually very close to where the pump comes out of the ground, and if you have a pressure tank there, look around the tank also. Good Luck
