I am sealing travertine tiles prior to installing them on a kitchen back splash. The short of it is...I laid them down to apply the sealer and some of the sealer ran down the sides of each tile, seeping underneath. Will having sealer on the back cause a proble with between the tile and adhesive?
Also, this is my first experience with travertine so any pointers are welcomed. Thanks.

It shouldnt be a problem unless the backs soaked up a real lot of sealer. For the record, you dont really need to seal travertine before grouting, but if you decide to, you should do it after the tile is on the wall, not before.
