After replacing the Sayco stems in the hot and cold faucets, it was time to tackle the shower diverter. It appears to be the original. Finally got the knob off; turned the stem counter clockwise - it just keeps turning. Won't come out. Have no idea what else to do; any suggestions? I've limited plumbing skills. Thanks.
