Just installed 5" rustic red oak flooring. Need some help on filling missing knots and nail holes with filler. Which is best so as not to stand out.

Second question.

Some of the butt seams ore slightly uneven. Should I sand or not? I was thinking on going over the entire floor anyway to remove some scuff marks and scratches, or leave well enough alone?

Also want to use a clear hard finish only no stain.
Have any suggestions on the best to use?

Thanks

Fill the missing knots with clear epoxy or tint them to look like a full knot.

Woodwise or Timbermate make good filler.
