Hi everyone, I have one for you:

I have an Enviro Empress pellet stove, and am using "premium wood pellets" by Comfy Cozy.

After talking to several people with various brands of stoves, I have come to the conclusion that my stove is producing WAY too much ash. I have to clean out piles of it daily, and empty the ash pan every 2 bags of pellets.

Is anyone else out there using Comfy Cozy pellets out of Canada? I am running a bag of other pellets as we speak to see if they are any better. I can fit about 50lbs. of these ones in the hopper, but only about 30lbs of the C. C. pellets.

My slide damper seems to be ok, the flame is efficient, but when on low the pellets don't burn away completely all the time, and I get build up that clogs the burn pot.

Best guess? Pellet issue or stove issue? This is my first year with a stove, so I have no idea.

Thanks for the help!
