The diverter valve in the spout does not drop back after a shower is completed. If we have been away for a couple of weeks it works properly, but then reverts to not dropping back. I have tried WD40, suggested in another post, but this has had not worked.
The valve lever works freely when no water is present.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
