Does anyone have formula's for making paint or know of a site, forum or a book with the formula's or mixtures.
I am specifically looking for:
1). a water based rubberizing compond that is used for coating and waterproofing pickup trucks or trailers.
2). a clear coat for automotive paint - both types - that needs a hardner added and the type that does not need a hardner added.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!
I have one question, Why?
The different paint manufactures have invested a lot of time in perfecting their coatings. IMO it makes more sense to use a coating that I'm confident in... besides the expense of making your own coatings would likely excede the price you would pay at the paint store.
