can anyone tell me how i can fix this? i bought 6" double insulated flue pipe from an individual and also the through the wall kit, which turns out to be 8"! is there such a thing as a double insulated 6x8 reducer? or any ideas anyone has on how i can make this work? i called a local general store and they tell me there is no way to make it work, i have to buy a whole new kit that is 6". any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've never heard or seen of a doubled wall reducer..
I am afraid you may have to send this one back and tell them you got the wrong kit, and ask for the right sized one.

unfortunately i bought it from an individual that had the kit and 6" double insualted pipe. looks like i need to buy a new tee and cap to make the rest of the pipe work. i have found that the GSW company was sold to Selkirk, now i just need to find a supplier of that product, or Supervent is supposed to interchange with the GSW pipe.
