I have a sears upright freezer model # 253.24082100.Yesterday we found it defrosting saved what we could.I had it unplugged looking at it.I couldn't see anything definate so plugged it back in and when I checked it this morning the stuff left is refrozen but the warning lights are still on.I hear it running but it doesn't sound to me like the compressor kicks in .Your thoughts on my next step would be helpful.I will tell you now I am unskilled labor but can follow directions .Thanks M

Next step is to get to where the compressor is, and see if it is running. Does this model have a fan in the freezer that circulates the air, you should be able to hear it if the freezer is running.?
