From my keypad when I arm away it displays arm away but after the countdown it actually arms "stay".

From my touch screen when I arm Away it arms "away" like it should. I can't figure out where to begin trouble shooting this one.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You have to open and close an entry/exit zone or the panel reverts to stay mode. It's an anti-false alarm feature to keep you from arming the system and walking into your own motion detectors.

It's in your user manual, but it's just one sentence that a lot of people miss.
