I let my evap fan run dry a few times and it gets used all the time. Then I let it run dry and run for a day or so while out for the weekend. Then shut it off and didnt use it again for a couple of weeks. The next time I used it it didnt have water coming down the manifold. I took off the covering made sure the holes were clean and the that the base was full of water. It worked sporradicaly for a week or two then nothing. Just the empty water light blinking. Base full, holes clean, NO PUMPING SOUND!
Did I burn out my pump? Can I fix or replace it, or will they (rite temp), its only like six months old. Or could it be clogged with algae or mineral biuld up and needs some vinegar run through it?
Or is it now just a fan?
Any help? Please I love my evap fan!
