I have a 3 year old roper dryer. Last night it tripped the breaker. I turned it back on but it had to be turned off manually. Today it blowed cool air and still has to be turned off manually. The timer knob does not move at all. (All duct work is clean. Lint trap is always cleaned under running water, so i know it is clean.) ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANK YOU.

I sounds like you have a bad timer, you may have some other problem also as a timer usually won't cause a breaker to pop.

Thank you for all replies. Problem turned out to be the breaker. The wiring had come loose and burnt out. Turned out dryer was fine. Thanks again.
