Hello all.
We just moved into an apartment that is about 10 years old.
Seems to have a standard fiberglass tub in it.
The problem is that it is sagging in the middle and water collects there and never makes it to the drain.
What is the best way to resolve this?
Will I be able to simply place shims under it after I break the caulk bead at the bottom?
Thanks.

Forgive my critical viewpoint. It is or it is not a fiberglass tub. If it is an apartment, you rent, correct??? There is nothing you can do, it is not your property. It was done wrong 10 yrs ago, and the surprise is, it has not cracked. If it cracked, then the owner would have to fix it.

Hard to say if it is actually fiberglass or some kind of plastic tub.
If we just moved in last week and noticed the flaw shouldn't they uninstall/reinstall the tub properly for us as new tennants?
When the repair guy for the complex came he said it would be a major repair and just to "splash the water down the drain" to get it out of there.
That sounds like a slip and a fall waiting to happen to me.
Should I notify the complex management what their repairman recommended and see if they agree with me that it is a danger waiting to happen?

They are not liable to fix it. The only thing they have to fix by most laws are the heat and water.
If it's been there for over 10 years, and no one has hurt themselves in it yet, then it's not feasible for them to replace it. Now, if a crack were to develope somehow (cough), then they would need to fix it.

Thanks for the thoughts.
Thinking outside the box I was contemplating reshaping the tub with some bondo or something to get it to "work right."
But that's really far out and not worth the trouble.
Love you sig line as well. The emphasis is on the before of course. Is that a quote from a Viking military training manual?

As to the slip issue, get a bunch of stick on anti slip thingies (technical term)from the hardware store. Doing your own repairs or worse could get expensive, when they make you pay for the oops.
