Hi, I have the following:
DSC 1832 Panel
DSC PK5500 Keypad
DSC Escort 5580TC Telephone/Automation Control
DSC RF5132 Wireless Receiver
DSC PC5950 2 Way Audio Verification
I have 8 wired zones and 3 wireless zones. Everything works.
The panel shows no errors.
My monitoring company has an Ademco 685 Receiver.
I have programed their receiver telephone number into [301]
I have programed my System Account Code into [310]
I have programmed 01 into [350] the communicator Format Options (20BPS, 1400HZ Handshake)
I try and send a test transmission via setting the test transmission time of day a couple of minutes ahead of the current time but the monitoring company receives nothing. What am I missing? Many Thanks.

One of the most maddening things about DSC panels is that everything you wish to report/activate dialer has to have a report code entered; all reports are blank by default.
Use contact ID for your format, it's a bit easier to deal with because it transmits standardized codes.
There is an appendix in the installer manual as to what codes to enter for CID for various functions.

Thanks Ron, that worked. Changing to Contact ID did it. The monitoring company told me that some of the Alarms come in with the following at the end: "NREC - Contact ID Type 458 Missing in Z User 000 Area 01" Any idea what its trying to tell us?
