Hi all,
I'm buying an older home that has stained wood trim throughout, 99% of the homes I've been in have painted white trim and I'm not sure how to make the home look nice without painting all the trim. I think my main problem is that I'm not used to the wood color and it catches my eye. I'd like to see some pics of homes that have the wood trim unpainted so I can get Ideas.
Thanks.

Beautiful interior trim that is not painted is eye catching. It is a higher grade of wood and more expensive than the more common paint grade. Finished interior wood trim and and doors can add o add greater value to homes, especially if trim and wider than standard and decorative. Leaving the trim finished, rather than painted, highlights the trim and calls attention to it. There are many real estate websites that offer virtual tours of homes for sale with finish wood interior doors and trim. These, as well as decorating magazines, offer opportunities to view decor. While many tend to consider it a tragedy to paint over finished wood trim, it is a matter of personal preference.
