I have a ADEMCO Vista 20P/PS Series and I decided to cut my phone line and thus no longer needed to the monitoring service. However, it's still nice to have the Alarm without the monitoring.
After a few months, it started making random beeping notices when it was armed - sometimes it would go days without making this noise and other times it does it several times a day before I have to reset it and arm again.
Both the AC & BAT indicators are displayed but I've replaced the battery twice and made sure it had AC power. Every once in a while the code 94 also pops up. The Manual says when both the AC & BAT lights are displayed I need to call for service....because I don't want to sign another year long contract, does anyone have any recommendations on how I could fix on my own?
I appreciate the help.
thanks

The AC should always be on the keypad. That lets you know
that you have AC current going to the panel. When you
see BAT, that means the panel battery is low. If you have
changed it several times, not sure why it keeps coming up
on you unless your using old/bad batteries. And as for your
code 94 appearing, here is your answer for that one!

Since you have removed the phone line, if you haven't already, you need to go into programming and erase the phone numbers *41* & *42*. You also need to turn off the phone line monitor feature *92 0
Do you have wireless devices? Bat will also show for a low battery on a wireless transmitter (accompanied by a zone number).
