Hi all,
I could really use some help here if anybody has the time. We recently moved into a house with a pc1555 system, unfortunately the previous owners never kept the manuals and they have no idea what the installers code is. All I'm trying to do is change the entry/exit delay from my front door to the rear door by the garage.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance for the help!:(

Getting the installer code on one of these, if you don't know it, is not easy, because short of a lucky guess, your only option is to default the thing and program everything from scratch.
(for manuals websearch using the phrase "DSC PC 1555 installer manual"; these are very common systems)
The simplest way to do what you want without reprogramming is to simply move the zone wires for the opening you are trying to switch onto the zone input for the existing entry/exit zone. Either add that to the door that is there (it has to be a series circuit electrically), or swap the two.

Thanks MrRon for the input, howevere, a quick question. I have the master code and used it to change access codes etc, can I not change that zone in the same way?

The master code cannot access system programming, which is where you change zone programming. You can try the factory default of 5555, but the odds are against you.
