I have a Black & Decker table saw, model FS210LS. I need a replacement for the miter gauge. And here I run into problem.
Miter gauges for sale on the net are for standard size 3/4" x 3/8". I am not sure my table saw's guiding slot is of that size. The depth of the slot is not quite 3/8 and the slot width is not quite 3/4".
B&D web site has no contact email to ask. The manual does not specify the miter gauge dimension. Thus I am hesitant to buy just any miter gauge for fear it won't fit.
Then I found a website eReplacementParts.com which have replacement for B&D miter gauge.

It shows the miter gauge (part #25) as "miter gauge assembly". I am not quite sure "miter gauge" and "miter gauge assembly" are the same or not, but it looks like it, so I ordered it. Then they send me something entirely different (a thick metal ring). It could be their mistake or my bad for ordering the so-called "miter gauge assembly". I'm dealing with eReplacementParts.com right now.
Meanwhile, I turn to the pro and the know-hows on this forum to help: how do I best find a replacement for my miter gauge?

If you go back to B & D website--at the bottom you will find
service center locations-click on it--type in your zip code & it will give you a list of these centers. call them w/ your problem.

The part number for the miter gauge is 490893-00. It costs $15.16. This is for the Type 1 model of the FS210LS . I don't know if the Type 2 has a different P/N.
