I have 2 keyfobs, both NX-470/60-659-95.
My original key fob that came with the system works great. I can learn/delete it as many times as I want and it always works (all 4 buttons can control the alarm).
Now I picked up another on ebay, it's identical to the orginal and is "new". First time I learned it into the system, I thought no problems. I hit both open/close at once and program it to the same group 01 as the other keyfob. However, none of the button presses work after learning. The LED flashes, but nothing is received on the panel.
I then deleted/relearned the key fob and it disarmed once. Then I try to arm/disarm again and nothing.
I also removed BOTH keyfobs and tried to add just the one that isn't working and that still had the same problem.
I don't get it, am I missing something obvious on adding a second keyfob? I tried swapping the batteries and no difference. Bad keyfob?
I tried the "sensor test" where the panel asks you to trip the sensors and I can sometimes get the bad keyfob to trip but it's not very consistent. I have to repeatedly try pressing both lock/unlock and about 1 out of 5-10 times it'll trigger.

Did you learn the new keyfob into an unused zone? They cannot share.

Yes, I have 1 keyfob as zone 4 (sensor 4), sensor group 1. The other is zone 13 (sensor 13) sensor group 1.

Hmmm, I'm thinking you may have a bad keyfob.
The GE guy might have something to add. The Simon XT is new enough that I've never had my hands on one, and there _may_ be an obscure setting to check that I don't know about.

HMMM is right...been reading this one and scratching my head. My first thought was make sure it's not an encrypted keyfob, but doubt that is the problem (since they learn in differently). Sounds like you are doing everything correctly. The Ebay thing scares me...never know who did what to it before you got your hands on it (they don't like water!). Sounds like bad keyfob....
