We have a 4 ton heat pump setup with the air handler being inside. Each fall I clean the coil(s) which is an A shape. It has a screen-like prefilter over each side that can be removed. I normally clean these parts (along with the coil) with something like diluted Simple Green and a soft toothbrush.

Recently my mom bought me a Shark Ultra Steam Blaster and it works well on alot of things around the house. I was wondering if any of you have used anything like this for coil cleaning. Thanks in advance. Later!

Don't use it. It will make the pressure build up and could cause a leak.
