How do I disassemble a recliner and sofa into pieces narrow enough to fit down a hallway and into a bedroom? I have a pretty good idea of how to get the sleeper unit out of the sofa (seen it done), but not how to remove parts that will then make the sofa and recliner narrower. :eek:

given the variety of ways that furniture is assembled, it would be great if you could post images of the pieces in question. A distance shot to show the over-all architecture, and a shot from underneath (with dust-cover removed, if present) to show the internals. Without that info, any recommendation would be a shot in the dark.
