I had a Concord 4 system with a Fixed display with a few hardwired and wireless sensors. I just added an Alpha display and was recently making some changes (adding and editing sensors) when the Alpha panel froze and showed a "Supervisory Error".

After having disconnected/reconnected AC power and the battery, I now find that I am no longer able to use the system. The Alpha display shows "***********" and the Fixed display shows the normal time but the status says I have a "01 Bus Failure".

How do I get back to where I was? If I messed up something, is there a way to reset everything and start over? Since the Alpha display does not respond, I can't seem to do anything.

Any help is appreciated.

This happens with the keypad is not receiving data from the panel. You probally have a loose data wire. Power down and recheck the keypad dat wires.

....Or you have a bus conflict...(both keypads have the same address). Here's how you check. On each keypad, press and hold the "D" and "6" keys together at the same time. You'll see a 3 digit number (like 001 or 002, etc). If both keypads show the same address, there's your problem. If this is the case, let us know, I can walk you through the rest. This is a rare occurrence since the panel has auto addressing, but can happen depending on how/when the second keypad was added.
