I have a Whirlpool Refrigerator, Conquest model. Model number: GS6SHAXLL03
The problem is it's not making ice. It does not fill the ice tray up. It is dry. But the water on the door works fine.
The switch is on the on position.
Water on the door works fine.
The Ice tray is in right.
The flap is closed.
The red light goes out. The beam connects. (signal it's not full)
The light does go off.
Filter Light Green.
No changes... just stopped.
But it will not fill the tray up with water...
Please help... No Ice = No one Happy.
Thanks

Fill the icemaker cavity with water from a glass, and see if ejects the ice after it is frozen. If it does that it can be the ice maker fill line inside the freezer is frozen shut, water valve on the bottom back right side not working. Let us know.

Ok... I did that... The ice did freeze but it the ice maker did not eject it. It's still in the tray.
Now what?
Thanks,

If the freezer is cold, there is ice in the cavity, bin is empty, then the ice maker should eject those ice cubes. I would have to think the icemaker is at fault now. Usually not worth trying to fix them, just find a good price on a replacement one.
