Hello Sandy5313. Welcome to Gas Appliances topic and our Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
First place to start is allowing us to help you by providing the model number and age of the appliance. Also if that model has an electronic spark ignition for the top burners and what type of ignition system is used for the oven/broiler.
Either the appliance has a spark ignition for the top burners or constant burning always on pilots. Same applies to the oven/broiler system. Constant burning pilot(s) or a spark igniter or a hot glowing igniter.
Next info needed is type of controls on the front panel. Electronic touch control pad or dials that rotate to operate the oven?
Kindly provide much more detailed information. Help us help you. Read The Sticky Advice And Information Note In This Topic: Range-Stove-Oven-Broiler Basic Help Information & Manufacturers Web Sites. http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=159808
