I need a new a/c system, & I'm considering 2 companies. What questions should I ask to ensure I get an honest deal?

Ask around your neighbor of who they have used, and also ask family or co-worker in your area.
Get a couple of quote, and when you make the call to the dealer to set up a date to come out, ask them if they do "Manual-J" (Load Calc) on the home to find the right size. If they say they don't or do the rule of thumb, then look else where.
