Guys had a school that had a flood in a mechanical room. Two boilers, burners where less than three weeks old $30,000.00, 3 circulator pumps, York chiller, and switch gear where under 17 feet of water. How has your week been.

What caused the flood? Anyone at fault? (Hope it was not you!)

My week been good so far, I am on vacation till Thursday. I"ll find out when I return if it will be good or not! :

No not my fault 2in plug blew out of hot water tank

Wasn't the floor drain able to handle the GPM's (would seem odd/uselsess if true)? Or was it full, say of construction debris/sweepings? Someone better look into the floor drain.

No typo on the 17 foot or taller room? Why so tall?

My old school, the boiler room had 3 boilers, and it was 20' or more high... Gotta have room for all those steam pipes.

School was out on Friday for no power. Got the switch gear back up Sunday afternoon. Still no chiller or boiler. You mean the sump pump with the 1nch discharge line! http://www.wset.com/news/stories/1008/561759.html
