I just had a new replacement AC unit installed last week.
3-ton Trane split system.

I've hit a problem...

When the thermostat is set to cool, the compressor runs, but the fan does not.

When the thermostat is set to fan on, the fan does not run.

Is there something simple I can check?

Check to make sure there is a wire hooked up to G at the t-stat, and same color wire hooked up to G at the furnace/air handler.

The thermostat is a Honeywell VisionPRO IAQ.

The green wire coming out of the module is connected to G on the furnace board.

Everything was working fine when the installer left.

Make sure the screw/wire is in place on the EIM .

Otherwise, I'd call the dealer to get this fixed since this was just put in... don't run the A/C till this is fixed.

Just an update to close this thread.

It was a problem in the circuit board; the dealer replaced it under warranty.
