Hello everyone,
I have a Heil Electric furnance. When I turn the A/C on I hear a humming from blower. The outside unit is working but the blower hums and cycles off. After a few minutes it will cycle back on with the humming noise again. I took off the cover to blower and made sure the fan moved freely. No bearing issues. Is there another item that could be causing the blower not to work? Thanks in advance for any insights...

Might just be the capacitor for the motor has burned out, that capacitor is a cheap part go ahead and replace it now, then if you still have the problem replace the motor also. Or if this is a older unit just go ahead and replace both parts for a better chance at trouble free operation.
