Ive got A brand new air cooled 2-cycle 6 hp. boat motor. The inside spring came uncoiled and now the pullrope will not retract. I have tried re-coiling this spring many times to no avail! Any diagrams on this problem is much appreciated. Thanks

there not fun to put back together not to mention they can do damage if they hit you. can out post the brand name and model of the motor.

Just takes patience and strong fingers/thumbs. I think there are devices out there to make the job easier, but I just do it by hand.
