Kitchen Gas Appliances - maytag gemini range overheats

I have a Maytag Gemini dual oven gas range.
The top oven works fine.
On the bottom oven, when you set it for any temp it says it reaches temp, but the burner doesn't shut off. This causes the oven to extremely overheat until turned off.
It did the same thing a year ago and I had a repair man out and he changed the sensor. It has been working fine till now and it is doing the same thing again, so I went and bought a new sensor and replaced it and it did not fix the problem.
Do you have any ideas as to what is wrong?

First possible cause and thought that comes to mind is a defective gas control valve. The internal plunger does not shut down (close) when the electrical current to it is shut off.

Which happens when the T-Stat reaches the set temperature and clicks to disconnect the power to the valve. The "Click" is often heard if one listens carefully. Thus, after the click is heard the burner remains on and the oven over heats.

Best suggestion based upon the results after replacing the temp sensor with no positive results to correct the stated condition would be to replace the gas control valve.

Gas control valve is the part that has two wires attached to it, has the orifice screwed onto it and the burners tube sets on.

Be sure to first turn off the supply of gas to the appliance. Then leak test the fittings you disconnect and re connect to install the gas valve once the new valve is installed. The fitting will be the tubing hex nut that supplies gas into the control valve.

Before attempting any repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first.
