We treat the outside of the home w/ that bug spray stuff and also spray the basement. It isn't helping...
It seems like this house has an excessive amount of spiders, rolly polly bugs and a few other smaller insects.
I am not sure what to do at this point other than replace the worn basement windows that I sealed w/ expanding foam thinking it MIGHT help this problem. No luck...
any help appreciated.
thanks

One thing that would help is to ensure that you do not have any damp areas that would attract certain kinds of bugs.
Ventilation and air movement would help a lot.
Several fans set up and blowing 24/7/365 in areas that are damp would dry them out.

Mosr basement bugs are a result of moisture. Fans can improve air circulation and dehumidifiers can help reduce humidity. A hygrometer, sold where thermometers are sold, helps monitor humidity level, which should be 35 to 55% year round. Dehumidifiers can reduce humi6ty and fans increase air circu;lation.
Guttters should be clean and clear and connected to drains that carry water away from foundation and soil should be gradeed to shed water way from structure. Have you been outdoors to explore the impact of heavy rain and runoff?
Do you at least do an interior and exterior insectide treatment monthly to keep insects at bay inside and outside? This can be done DIY oe by a pro exterminator.
