There should be a groove all around that the bottom fits into? As things get older they open up the joints a bit.

A quick fix would probably be, turn the drawers upside down, press the bottom into the correct position and put a good bead of hot-melt glue in around the edge, to act as a bit of support. I've done it, and it will probably last quite a while. You need to hold the bottom until the glue completely hardens.

Better would be to get some thin 1/4 round or bead from your local Home Improvement center or Hardware store and wood glue and brad nail it to the sides, back, and front.

I've even had to add a support under larger drawer bottoms cause they were just too warped/bowed to stay in. Used hot glue for that as well. Still have some fixed that way.

Wel, hot glue requires a gun, and any general purpose sticks from the same place (craft stores, Wally World) should be fine.
Prob $5-7 for a small kit.

If you are going the bead and wood glue route, any of the yellow wood glues would work. They take a while to set up completely.....3-4 hrs at least...before using.

Wood Glue is a better one. Have used Wood glue and it works great
