Hello, I have a Whirlpool fridge/freezer and icemaker, the number on the icemaker is 106 626636. It's worked since we have been in our house (about one year). I have jumpered the L&V terminals and the water flows in. I have also jumpered the T&H terminals and the harvest cycle runs through its cycle. The problem is that the thing will not run through its cycles automatically. Is there a specific component that is malfunctioning? Maybe a sensor that tells it to start filling the water and then start the harvest cycle at the right time?
TIA,
Dave

There is a temp sensing device that when it reaches the right temp, it knows the ice is frozen and time to eject the cube, and let more water in. Is your Freezer cold as it should be?

It is plenty cold in there, but maybe a sensor like that is malfunctioning.

If your icemaker has ice in the cavity, but doesn't eject the ice, then I would suspect that sensor, or it thinks the ice bin is full, and doesn't need any more ice.

That is the case exactly. Now the next question is there a way to test which sensor is faulty, or do I just need to replace the whole icemaker?
