I have a Model 917.376281 Craftsman Selfpropelled mower (1996). The Belt is wore out and I need to replace. Do I need to use a wheel puller to remove the blade adapter to remove the belt shroud under the mower deck?
Thanks for your help in advance

Sometimes if the blade adapter has been on for years, a puller may be required. Sometimes lightly tapping on them while pulling on them is all that is needed, but the blade adapter needs to come off to remove the belt cover to gain access to the drive pulley.

Best of Luck..

Thanks! I guess I will go buy a wheel puller, as I have already tried tapping.
