Hi, does anyone knows the proper name for this corner metal part or where to get it? I tried homedepot in Toronto but they don't carry this item.

I'm sure the maker has a specific name for it. I'd probably refer to it as a "post top bracket". You won't find anything like that as a stock item anywhere. It's probably made to spec for the company that built the structure.
Why do you need one? Are you building a pergola and want to use those brackets? Or do you need a replacement?

I am trying to build one and I like this metal bracket very much. No drilling and cutting to the post and the 2 cross 2X6 just sitting there nice and clean. The colour is good too.

Well, as I said, if you can find the company that built the one in the picture...you might be in luck. Having them made by a welding shop would probably cost a mint.
Maybe one of the deck, fence, or contractor guys will have some info.
