Most paint manufacturers recommend not thinning their latex paints more than around 10 percent. I would like to spray my doors and trim, including baseboard and crown moulding using an HVLP sprayer with latex paint.--With HVLP, however, the latex must be thinned to around 25 percent or more (as recommended by Fuji, my HVLP system manufacturer). I do plan on spraying 2 coats of the latex over 2 coats of sprayed primer.
How do you pros out there feel about how the paint's finished look and durability will be affected by the above schedule?
Thanks.

Personally, I woudn't do it. You may have to apply extra-thin coats to prevent running with the paint thinned down that much, and you will have extremely poor hide.
The HVLP sprayers just aren't designed to spray house paint. If you have your heart set on spraying, rent a pro rig from a paint store.
I will note that most of the pros here will NOT paint an occupied house due to the extreme amount of prep work required to prevent overspray from coating unintended surfaces.

"most of the pros here will NOT paint an occupied house"
I'm sure he meant 'spray paint an occupied house' and SirWired's reasons are correct :D
With the exception of automotive type coatings, it is rarely a good idea to thin any paint more that 10% Generally if the sprayer won't spray the paint without a lot of thinning - it isn't the correct sprayer for the job.
