Our carpet had some milk spilled onto it and I guess we didn't get it all cleaned up because now the spot smells. What's the best way to get spoiled milk smell out of carpet???

More than likely it's in the pad and will not come out unless it is deep cleaned. Rug Doctor or professional cleaning. There are enzyme cleaners on the market: Capture makes one that sells at HD and is great if indeed the milk is on the carpet and not below it.

Professional hot water extraction.

The milk more then likely has wicked into the cushion below. Pull the carpet back, remove the cushion underneath, HWE the carpet, replace the section of cushion, and reinstall the carpet.
