We ripped up the cheap adhesive tiles the previous owner put down in the tool room in the basement. About half of the adhesive stayed with the floor. We cleaned the floor with a concrete cleaner and etcher, put down a good primer and two coats of basement paint (a lovely slate grey...). The adhesive has bled through, so our feet make that sticky noise when walking across it. What can we use to permanently seal what's under the paint away from us and our feet?
